Squash Court Booking Rules
- Members can book the squash courts up to 14 days in advance from 7 am. Although the new booking sheet will automatically appear after midnight, the links to "book now" will only be operational from 7 am onwards on the day when booking.
- Members should select their playing partners/opponents' names to show on the booking sheets, as this will also facilitate the sharing of booking fees (see below).
- Peak times:
- Monday - Friday, bookings starting between 4.45 pm and 7.45 pm (finishing 8.30 pm) on courts 1 and 3 only.
- All other start times are off-peak.
- Court fees
- Each Member has an account within the booking system and must have credit in order to book a court.
- You can purchase credit (£24 minimum) with any credit/debit card when logged into this website. Your transaction will be processed by Stripe.
- You can purchase £24 "top-up" vouchers from the bar, which you can redeem for credit when logged into the booking system website or when using the touch screen "kiosk" system in the club house bar area -- please note you will need to know your PIN to use the "kiosk" system.
- The court fees as displayed on the Booking Sheets will be deducted from your booking system account when you book the court.
- Members can share booking fees by using the facility to Transfer Credit -- on the day playing, the system will automatically send an email to invite selected playing partners/opponents to share the booking fees paid by the member who booked the court.
- Guest Fees
- When playing a guest, members MUST:
- Select "GUEST" as the playing partner/opponent to show on the booking sheet.
- The system will automatically charge the Guest Fee to your booking system account by adding it to the booking fee already paid.
- If you're no longer playing a Guest, you can change your playing partner/opponent to a member, and the court fee will automatically revert to the normal rate (and your booking system account will be credited).
- This can be done when you book the court or any time before playing.
- If you forget to select Guest as the playing partner/opponent before playing, then please be sure to use the facility to "TransferCredit" to the Guest account on this system.
- Guests may only play with a member.
- The Committee may assume a member is playing a guest if no other partner/opponent has been selected and shown on the booking sheets. In this case, the Committee may charge the Guest Fee to the members booking system account.
- When playing a guest, members MUST:
- Late-Cancellation refund policy:
- When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel as soon as possible so that others may use the court.
- The booking fees are automatically refunded as system credit when the booking is cancelled more than 3 days prior to start time (eg. 72 hours prior).
- There is no refund within 3 days prior to start time, unless the same court and start time is re-booked -- in this case the booking fee is automatically refunded.
