Tour de Yorkshire Sat 5th May
Dear Members,
As I am sure you are all aware the Tour de Yorkshire will be coming through Leyburn on Saturday 5th May. I have been asked by Leyburn Town Council, who are organising events over that weekend, if I could ask members if anyone would be able to help out with a volunteering slot on the Saturday. This would only be for about 2 hours and would only entail possibly manning a barrier for traffic access or taking money on one of the activities that will be occurring during the day, so nothing too onerous.
I hope some of you may be able to help as since we took over the Club we have had several generous grants to help us with improvements and keep it running, all of these have been supported by the council when the grant providers have asked for community support.
