GENERAL MEMBERS UPDATE

Members' Update:-

Following the recent easing of Covid 19 restrictions by the UK Government from 17th May 2021, we are aware that the use of certain facilities at our club are now permissible. In respect of our club, many Members have asked about the reopening of the bar area and saunas/changing rooms.

Owing to the levels of cleaning/hygiene required (and costs this would incur) to safely open these facilities under Government regulations, the Committee has reluctantly decided to continue with the Health and Safety procedures currently in place at the club. Therefore, the changing rooms and bar will remain closed for the time being. It is hoped that all facilities will be available without restrictions following the next planned relaxation phase in June.

All Health and Safety protocols (hand sanitizing, mask wearing on arrival, social distancing etc.) should continue to be practised until further notice.

Squash Members – FULL RETURN TO SQUASH MATCHES
Guidance released by England Squash (15th May 2021) now permits unrestricted squash between members of different households. The intervals for air circulation between court bookings will remain in place for the time being, and we would ask that players continue to sanitize and clean down all touch points around the court after finishing their games.
Use of Water Dispenser

It has come to our notice that some Members are taking glasses from behind the bar to use, and then leaving the dirty glasses on top of the dishwasher. We would respectfully remind all Members to bring their own drinks/bottles with them when coming to the club.

We will endeavour to update Members with information as and when it becomes available. We would also like to express our sincere and continued thanks to everyone supporting the club through this difficult time.
