Ladies Team Squash Season 2020
Good morning,
LADIES TEAM SQUASH
Next season the Durham and Cleveland Ladies League will still consist of the 5 Team playes and the Ladies Friendly League 3 players.
LADIES DIVISION TEAM
This consists of a 5 person team in ranked order. It is a competitive league. There are usually 8 teams in the league and the team will play at home and away through the season. Dates are usually from the end of Sept to end of Nov, it then restarts from Jan to April. The team members take turns in supper duties for a team of ten.
LADIES FRIENDLY TEAM
Last year we pulled out due to lack of a team. The team consists of 3 players, a match of 2 games, each player plays all opposing team members. Therefore 3 matches each. The points won in each game are accumulated to find the winning team. It is not as competitive with the underlying element of not thrashing a weaker opponent!!.
POSSIBLE LADIES TEAM OF 3 IN A 2ND DIVISION
The league wishes to know if there are any lady players who would be happy to play in this division as a step up from the ladies friendly teams. It will be structured the same as a Division 1. This can only go ahead if there are enough teams.

We are also looking for a Captain to organise the Ladies Friendly Team/ 2nd Division 3 person Team. We have to forward this information before the end of July.
